36- Month/100,000 Mile - Coverage for Automatic Remanufactured Transmissions

With AAMCO’s Limited Warranty for automatic transmissions, your transmission and torque converter are covered for the term of months or miles described on your invoice, whichever occurs first. 

As with any AAMCO Limited warranty, coverage does not apply under certain circumstances. For example, failure caused by customer abuse, accident or alterations, or reimbursement of consequential damages are some of the circumstances that are not covered by the warranty. Your AAMCO Warranty is null and void if the covered vehicle is converted from a passenger vehicle to a commercial vehicle. Be sure to read your AAMCO Warranty so you fully understand all of your rights and any other restrictions that apply. 

The term of months and miles of your AAMCO Automatic Transmission Warranty will vary depending on the specific Transmission Service you choose. 

If you choose to have your vehicle’s transmission exchanged for the AAMCO Factory Certified Remanufactured Transmission, you may opt for coverage as follows: 

18 Months or 18,000 Miles, whichever first occurs, or 

36 Months or 50,000 miles, whichever first occurs, for an additional cost, or 

36 Months or 100,000 miles, whichever first occurs, for an additional cost. 

If you choose to have your vehicle’s transmission Custom Rebuilt by a local transmission rebuilding specialist, you may opt for coverage of your AAMCO Custom Rebuilt Transmission Service as follows: 

18 Months or 18,000 Miles, whichever first occurs, or 

36 Months or 50,000 Miles, whichever first occurs, and for an additional cost with some vehicle restrictions and exclusions. 

Lifetime coverage may be available, depending on vehicle make and model for an additional cost. See your local AAMCO Center for details. 

If you choose to have your vehicle’s transmission exchanged for AAMCO’s Pre-Owned Transmission, coverage is available for 90 days at the AAMCO center issuing the warranty. 

AAMCO Centers in Canada offer equivalent mileage terms listed in kilometers.
