“I took my car to AAMCO to get my transmission rebuilt. I had already been informed by the Toyota dealer that I needed to replace it and given an estimate for the replacement. The cost for the rebuild was a bit more than expected and I was without transportation for almost two weeks which was much longer than I had anticipated. But I was kept informed of the progress on my car regularly and was explained in detail why the repair took as long as it did. I was also explained why the cost was higher due to some expensive parts that needed to be replaced. All and all the people were very professional and the cost for the rebuild was about $400.00 less than what the dealership had quoted although I was hoping for a lot more savings than that but I understood why it did cost more. I would recommend this AAMCO shop to friends and relatives for transmission repairs should the need arise.”
