“I  had 2 or 3 other companies I was going to call, but I was sold on AAMCO Mission Bay when I was on the phone with them. They were really upbeat. I went in to talk to them, and I was super happy, so I had them rebuild the transmission in my 1994 Ford Explorer. They also put in a new radiator and had to do all the electrical work for the transmission. They rebuilt it from scratch. I took the car in on Wednesday and told them that I had to have it back on Friday. I am an umpire, and I had a game on Saturday. They got it back to me on time. Even when they told me they would call me with an update, they were never more than 5 minutes off the time they said. They were also within 5 minutes of 1:00 on Friday, which is when they said it would be done. To be honest, I was really amazed that they could get me in and out that quickly. The car is running great. There was a little problem with it shifting initially, but I took it back and they put an additive in it. I think that the valve bank is a little tight, so the additive should take care of it. I don't see it as a problem, but they let me know they want me to bring it back in if it doesn't work itself out in several days. I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes. I am very impressed with them.”
